Rinkesh Patel
Rinkesh PatelPresident
As the guiding force behind RAMHotels, Rinkesh Patel has enjoyed a dazzling trajectory upward, from immigrant status in 1998 to president of a company that’s poised to take its place as a premiere hotel management and development leader. As president, Mr. Patel is directly charged with planning, developing, and implementing strategies for hotel acquisition, new development, debt placement, and the raising of equity. He oversees company operational procedure, mitigates operational and financial risk, and advances the overall vision of the company. Mr. Patel has acquired hands-on knowledge of hotel operations from the very bottom up: first, as a teenager through the performance of various responsibilities at a family hotel, and later, working different hotel jobs while studying engineering at Auburn University. While enrolled in college, he and other family members purchased their first hotel a budget chain Days Inn hotel in Phenix City, Alabama.

Rinkesh Patel serves as a member of the Citizen Trust Bank advisory board and assists the Phenix City economic development office. He is married to his childhood girlfriend, is a devoted father to his young sons, and embraces the highest values of integrity, honesty, and growth in his professional and personal life.

Matt can barely recall a time when he wasn’t involved in the hotel business. By age 14, he was working alongside his brother and uncle in family-owned and family-operated franchised hotels across Alabama and Georgia. Not long after graduating college, Matt spearheaded operations for multiple properties in Columbus, Georgia and witnessed the growth of the portfolio from just three hotels to several in a mere eight years.

Today, Matt is responsible for the overall operations, project developments and capital projects for RAM Hotels. As Vice President of Operations, Matt boasts a proven track increasing market penetration and profits above industry benchmarks for all properties and is directly responsible for revenue management, human resources, operations, sales and marketing. In addition, Matt positions RAM Hotels in its corporate citizen role through involvement in the community and charitable organizations.

Matt earned his degree Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Auburn University.

Michelle Spivey
Michelle SpiveyVice President Sales & Marketing
Michelle brings over two decades of proven hotel industry experience to her executive-level position at RAM Hotels. Michelle oversees the sales efforts of RAM Hotels entire portfolio of managed hotels, including Hilton, IHG and Marriott brands. She brings a genuine passion to her myriad of responsibilities: meeting stringent rental revenue, implementing yield management strategies, achieving budget, forecast and optimal mix target goals, analyzing current and potential market and sales trends, developing special events and sales blitzes and more. Michelle began her sales career with the Columbus Georgia Convention and Visitors Bureau, working in both tourism and sales, followed by a nine-year career with InterContinental Hotels Group where she served as Director of Sales.
Jay Prater
Jay PraterDir of Operations
A 30 year veteran of the hotel industry, Jay brings multi brand property management experience to his position as Director of Operations. His background has included positions in rooms, food and beverage, and sales and marketing. This varied background gives him the knowledge to have a positive impact on each of our hotels’ overall performance. Jay has served as GM for IHG, Hilton, and Marriott branded hotels. Jay has been awarded Best Guest Loyalty in 2002 by HGI, his Marriott hotel was the Marriott Hotel of the Year in 2008. In addition, he has picked up awards in our industry as the 2004 Alabama Hotelier of the Year and the 2007 Marriott GM of the Year. Jay is a graduate of Jacksonville State University and has been a leader for increasing education in our industry. He has served on the Jacksonville State University Foundation Board, as a Advisory Council Member for the Tuskegee University School of Hospitality Management, a boardmember of the Auburn Opelika Tourism Bureau, and the Alabama Restaurant and Hospitality Alliance.
Charles Long
Charles LongDir of Operations
Charles Long joined RAM Hotels in 2017 as General Manager of the Hilton Garden Inn Montgomery EastChase. Soon after he was promoted to Regional Director of Operations, overseeing multiple properties in GA and Alabama.

Charles is a performance-driven hospitality professional with more than 25 years of extensive experience in operations and hotel openings. Prior to joining RAM Charles spent 11 years with Hilton Worldwide most recently as Sr. Manager Brand Performance Support for the Hilton Garden Inn brand providing operations and sales support. He spent 5 years as Manager, Hotel Opening for the Embassy Suites brand in the Americas; 3 years with the Hampton Inn brand as Regional Hotel Support Manager. Charles works tirelessly to provide the very best hotel experience for guests and a great place to work for hotel management and associates.

Kalpana Desai(Kay)
Kalpana Desai(Kay)Human Resource Manager
Kay plays a key role to create HR policies and procedures; recruit employees; create group benefits databases; and develop orientation, training and incentive programs. She administer key HR policies; and HR generalist workplace issues. She works closely with all Hotel Managers to reduce labor cost, increase employee retention and reduce associated cost of new hire. Kay has won an award of excellence with RAM in the past.
Rebecca Thomas
Rebecca ThomasProject Manager & Purchasing Agent
Rebecca is responsible for purchase orders for entire portfolio, to include new hotels that will be opening.  She helps with inventory management and the cost analysis of goods and services used by each hotel. Rebecca oversees each hotels purchases in order to ensure it is favorable to  Ram Hotels in sense  that the goods, services or works are appropriate and that they are procured at the best possible cost, terms, time, and location. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from University of South Carolina.
Kristy Beeler
Kristy BeelerAccounts Payable
Kristy is responsible for processing Accounts Payable, Coding and ACH transactions. Kristy oversees each hotel’s Cash Management, and journal ledger entries to ensure it is in compliance with standard accounting practice of hotel industry. Kristy joined RAM Hotel in Feb 2013 and poised to be one of the best team member. In past Kristy have been awarded many recognition such as Aflac Employee of the Month. In her downtime she love music and concerts.
David McKim
David McKimFacilities Manager
David works directly with each hotel engineer at property level, ensuring brand standards, energy conservation, and life safety standards are met. He oversees building repairs and maintains vendor relations, thus, minimizing downtime and increasing positive guest experiences. In addition, David also structures each property’s maintenance plan to streamline efficiency and performance.

Rebecca oversees each hotels purchases in order to ensure It is favorable to  Ram Hotels in sense  that the goods, services or works are appropriate and that they are procured at the best possible cost to meet the needs, with best possible cost to meet the needs of the acquirer in terms of quality and quantity, time, and location. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from University of South Carolina.
